Sebum is the oily film secreted naturally by the skin. Sebum traces are therefore mainly found on the head/neck area and on the armrests of your sofa.
The sebum may not be visible at first as it penetrates the leather. As it accumulates, a greasy film or halo will appear on the surface. If you do nothing, the leather will discolour and then become brittle until it tears.

When and how to use our Sebum Cleanser?

For preventive use:

Spray the product generously on a soft cloth and then gently rub the affected areas (armrests and headrests).
To be applied once a month (for daily use of the furniture).

For curative use:

ALLOWS THE EXTRACTION OF ENCRUSTED GREASE (SEBUM), SO THAT THE LEATHER CAN BE RECOLOURED WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE ADHESION OF OUR RENOVATION PRODUCTS.

Spray generously directly onto the leather and wait 30 seconds for the leather to absorb some of the product and for the grease to come off.
Then rub with absorbent paper or a microfiber cloth to extract the product and the grease.
Repeat several times, taking care not to soak the leather completely. If necessary, allow to dry and repeat later.

In the presence of a large sebum stain, it is necessary to repeat the operation several times, over several days: twice a day for a week for the most difficult cases. You can alternate the application of this product with an application of acetone to increase the effectiveness of your treatment. Sebum is difficult to extract when it is well embedded in the leather. You will need to be patient and the results are not always guaranteed in the most serious cases.
