What are Peugeot's leather colour codes?

At Peugeot, the original upholstery is identified by a four-character upholstery code, shown on the vehicle identification label (door pillar or boot depending on the model) next to the paint code, and in the vehicle documents. The first two characters identify the type of upholstery (for example Q1 for Claudia leather, 4H for Nappa leather, Q3 for full leather), the central F is common, and the last letter gives the colour: Q1FX is thus a Noir Mistral (black) Claudia leather.

The table below gathers 139 upholstery codes, from the 107 and 207 to the 308, 3008, 508 and RCZ. How to read a Peugeot upholstery code

The colour letter does not always mean the same thing from one model to another: X is most often Noir Mistral, but not on every model. The same leather can also change code depending on the year. So always read the code together with the model and year. Colour names are Peugeot's own (in French): Noir Mistral, Tramontane, Grège, Lama, Vintage, Guérande, Cohiba?

The codes are listed by model. Mixed upholstery (half leather, leatherette and fabric, leather and Alcantara) is shown with the colour of the leather or leatherette part; two-tone interiors have no direct link.

On the vehicle identification label, stuck on a door pillar or in the boot depending on the model, next to the paint code; it also appears in the vehicle documents. It is a four-character code, for example Q1FX.

Is the code enough to choose the shade?

It gives the original colour, so it is the best starting point. Old leather may however have darkened or faded over time and in the sun: compare the suggested shade with a protected part of the upholstery (under a seat cushion, in a fold) before renovating everything.

My code has no matching shade in the table: what should I do?

First look through our whole Peugeot colour chart: the colour may appear under another name. If you cannot find it, contact us with your vehicle's upholstery code, model and year: we will help you identify the closest shade.
