Dark leather
Hello,
I took a while to maintain my club sofa, and the leather of the seat was slightly worn. I have resumed the usual maintenance (alternating pig's foot oil and wax), the solidity in this area seems good, but an area remains a little darker. What can I do about it?

No, it's after the application of the tawny tinted wax.
At the first application, 6 months ago, it was only darker in terms of cracks. Since then I have reapplied foot of beef oil and then another wax application recently. The area has now become more uniform and darker. I couldn't get a better picture.

Hello,
At this point the fibres are broken and the oil is distributed poorly in the leather preventing the dye from descending well into the leather, do not apply any more tinted wax at this point, only colourless wax ,with time the dark part will fade, it is possible to lighten it with a dye thinner but not without risk from an aesthetic point of view.

Concerning broken fibres, is it serious? Is there anything feasible? Is there any special instructions for the application of poorly distributed oil?
Concerning the wax for the area concerned, is it preferable to place an order, for example from https://www.renovation-du-cuir.fr/en-gb/club-armchair/club-armchair/cire-impermeabilisante--cimefc.html, or is it possible, if it is temporary, to use a simple commercial product made with beeswax for troubleshooting in this area?
Once the darker part is blurred, will it be necessary to continue with colourless wax on the area concerned?
