Easily and Efficiently Restore Your Car's Leather Steering Wheel
Particularly pleasant for driving, leather is nonetheless a material that requires some maintenance. Indeed, subject to numerous frictions, leather can wear out and lose quality.
To restore a steering wheel to good condition, we offer you this renovation kit for worn, cracked, or depigmented leather steering wheels.
If your leather is punctured, please take note of the additional products to order. These are listed in our tutorial below.
COLOR CHOICE: 22 colors are offered for immediate production without the need to send a color swatch beforehand. Depending on your screen settings, we draw your attention to the fact that the actual color may be different
It is also possible to order a CUSTOM LEATHER PAINT from us based on a 1cm² sample that you provide, or from the many automotive manufacturer color swatches we offer. If you wish to send us a sample, please place your order first and then send your sample by mail accompanied by your order number. More information here for sending a sample.
VARNISH CHOICE: It is the varnish that provides the color finish (satin, matte, or glossy). In case of doubt, prefer the satin finish, which is most widely used in the automotive industry.
PRECAUTIONS AND USAGE TIPS:
- The application of the products can very well be carried out inside the vehicle and without dismantling the steering wheel. Simply make sure to protect the elements that do not need treatment.
- for better adhesion to the leather, we recommend applying our PRIMER / BASECOAT for LEATHER beforehand.
- to achieve increased professional-quality durability, you can also incorporate our MULTIPURPOSE CATALYST FOR VARNISHES AND PAINTS.
- Always test the color AND the proper compatibility of the product on a small hidden area before generalizing the application.
How to repaint the plastic parts of my steering wheel?
It is now possible to order from us custom color plastic paint (in the same color as your leather, for example), for certain parts of your steering wheel, your door trims, dashboard, center console, etc!

To achieve an optimal renovation, please carefully read the instructions for use of each product, and respect the order of application as well as the drying times.
For light colors or porous materials the quantity provided in the kit may be insufficient. Be sure to not finish part of your renovation without making sure you have enough products.
However, as a precaution, for pigment recolourants made from a sample of material, we keep the details of your color for one month.
