Motorcycle saddlery

Hello

I have a whole motorcycle saddlery (driver and passenger seat, saddlebags) that I want to redo.

The original light brown colour became greenish-yellow with exposure to sun and rain.

I would like to paint it all back in dark brown. I have two questions:

- do you recommend the "boats" range for a better weather resistance?

- do I first have to "catch up" with the original shade and then apply a darker layer or is it possible to make the final shade directly without having any colour differences in the end?

Sincerely,

    Hello,

For colouring, it is best to apply the chosen colour immediately, in your case you need three coats. We recommend the solvent-based leather re-colouring and waterproofing. The solvent-based leather recolouring agent is not for sale on the site you will need to make a request by email, this product is delivered in aerosol.

    Sincerely

    Good evening,

    Thank you for your answer.

Do I also need to strip and can I do an oil treatment before colouring?

I am writing you an email to get a range of shades.

    Sincerely,

You must first lightly sand with 240 sandpaper and remove with acetone.
The application of edible oil must be done either 1 month before the renovation or 1 month after.
