Should a fixative be applied after the coloration?

Hello,
I was about to order your renovation box (stain cleaner) when I was advised to use a fixative or risk seeing the stain leave very quickly. What exactly is the situation?

Hello,
We recommend Silky Varnish after recolouring to avoid that the friction ,due to use, makes the Recolourant disappear prematurely. All leather colours are finished with an application of varnish. Your re-colouring would hold, but it would get dirty very quickly. Our varnish is not a hairspray.
