    No, the tear can be repaired without any problem, but do not hesitate to open it at least 10 cm long to slip a piece of leather large enough for the repair to cover the entire weakened area. We now offer a complete kit for repairing leather tears over 15cm

    Concerning the traces of cat scratches on your leather, the repairing paste will do perfectly well!
