Peeling sofa

Hello,

I have a corner sofa sold as being made of peeling leather crust. The first thin and coloured layer peels. Underneath is a smooth, slightly thicker layer that starts by scraping it off. Finally, there is a last "rough" layer of scratched appearance.

How should we proceed to completely renovate this sofa? Thank you in advance for your answer.
