Hello, for a constructive purpose I find that the application of dyes and varnishes is very easy if not ideal for lacquering or varnishing brushes and even those of DIY stores are suitable, no orange peel or bubbles. It is only necessary to make sure that the hairs are very fine to avoid brush marks... I have just finished and delighted with the final result.
