Available in many standard colors or custom-made

Primarily intended for the treatment of synthetic leathers and polyurethane foams, this paint benefits from:

high elasticity
excellent adhesion
good coverage
perfectly respects the grain of the material it is applied to
good resistance to marine atmosphere and Ultra Violet (UV) rays

POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS:

Ideal for repainting all types of benches or headliners: captain's seat, sunbeds, etc. But also motorcycle seats, medical benches or gym benches, restaurant benches...

500ml = approximately 2m² of surface in two coats

In the presence of leather/skai/faux leather and if it is damaged (cracks, tears, scratches), use our SKAI TEAR REPAIRERS before painting.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Quick sanding with 240-grit abrasive is necessary. Clean and degrease with alcohol or acetone more or less diluted with water.

APPLICATION:
Mix the product thoroughly before application. Ideally apply with a spray gun especially at temperatures above 15°C, or with a lacquer roller or short-haired solvent-resistant roller.

Too powerful spraying can cause filament formation at the spray gun outlet. It is then necessary to check the spray adjustment. Dilution with MEC thinner (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) is possible and can eliminate filament formation.

Always perform a compatibility test of the product with the support on a small area before generalizing the application.
If the paint does not seem to dry properly after 24 hours, applying our Marine Varnish for nautical upholstery in aerosol form may, in some cases, eliminate this phenomenon.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE:
Our Marine Paint must be stored in a dry place, protected from frost [5°C - 30°C]. Outside this tolerance, SOFOLK no longer guarantees the properties of the product;

After opening, reseal the packaging tightly to extend the product's shelf life;

Under proper storage and handling conditions, Marine Paint can be kept for 18 months from the date of manufacture.

To achieve an optimal renovation, please carefully read the instructions for use of each product, and respect the order of application as well as the drying times.

For light colors or porous materials the quantity provided in the kit may be insufficient. Be sure to not finish part of your renovation without making sure you have enough products.

However, as a precaution, for pigment recolourants made from a sample of material, we keep the details of your color for one month.
