Fabric sofa renovation tutorial

Fabric can be recoloured but not repaired. It is therefore necessary to replace the panel when the fabric is damaged. Stains must therefore be avoided as far as possible.
Recolouring is a delicate job and must be done with a spray gun. It requires the use of a fixative. For this operation it is preferable to contact us by telephone so that, depending on your particular problem, we can give you the best possible advice.
So take care to protect your car seats, sofa or fabric armchair once a quarter with a waterproofing treatment.
If your seats are made of two materials (fabric/leather or fabric/leatherette), the waterproofing treatment and the Stain Remover Cleaner are compatible, and allow you to clean both materials safely.
FABRIC CARE
  1. Spray the Cleaner as a mist over all the surfaces to be cleaned
  2. Wipe with a clean microfibre cloth
  3. Wait 2 or 3 hours for the seat to dry
  4. Apply the water-based Waterproofing Treatment with a foam roller or a sponge
Tip: To remove a grease stain, paint or other products with the Stain Remover Cleaner, spray the product as a foam (see how to do this on the sprayer), brush, wait 2 or 3 minutes and wipe with a microfibre cloth. Repeat the operation several times if necessary.

    Hello,

you are quite right, this tutorial is no longer up to date because our sprayer no longer has the foam spray option (it has been discontinued)... which in the end is not a problem at all!

    hello,

the stain remover soaks into the leather very quickly, which means I have to spray several times. Is this normal, and is there any "danger" for the leather?

Also, the leather has "slackened" in some places because of a heavy load stored on it occasionally (5 years in a cellar). Can this "hole" be recovered?

    thank you for your reply

    Hello,

If the product soaks in, that is not a problem. Simply make sure you let your leather dry normally at room temperature. Otherwise (high temperature), your leather will harden.

As for your "hole", it seems you are rather describing a deformation?
Do you have a photo you could post in a message?
