Repairing a seam on a leather car seat

· 1 replies · 9159 views

Hello,

I bought your products to redo the leather of a Super 5 Baccara, and I am left with a seam that has come completely open. Do you have a solution for this type of repair, or should I fill it all with RépaCuir, at the risk that it opens up even more!?!

Thank you

And the products are great :) !

Romain

    Hello,

The repair paste can work miracles, but in your case you are asking too much of it! It has limited tensile strength and will not hold...
You have no choice but to do a little sewing if you want a solid and lasting repair. RépaCuir can then be used to hide all or part of your stitching if it does not look neat.
