The original varnish on your sofa has disappeared and it is now the grain of the leather that is unprotected.
Fortunately, you are still at stage 1 of wear.
A surface recolouring, followed by an application of varnish, will be enough to renovate your sofa.
We advise against recolouring only the damaged areas, as it will show. Recolour at the very least all the seats.
For products and quantities, allow 250ml of leather sofa paint per seat and half that quantity of clear protective varnish.
Ideally, you can nourish your leather (the whole sofa) with about 200ml of nourishing oil around 15 days after the renovation.
Finally, the instructions for leather renovation will be sent to you with your order.

I have noted that you advise a surface recolouring but advise against recolouring only the damaged areas; however, in my case only the armrest is damaged and I do not wish to recolour the rest of the sofa, which is in perfect condition. I am attaching a wider photo for information. Is it possible to recolour the damaged armrest (or, for the sake of uniformity, the second one too, which is in good condition)? If so, I wanted to colour it grey like the seat part of the sofa, as I am not sure that the white you offer matches the white of my sofa. Does this seem feasible to you and, if so, what quantity do you advise?

Yes, the realm of possibilities in terms of recolouring is open to you!
The idea of renovating only the armrests is well known and often adopted.
In that case, order 250ml of leather paint.
As for the leather protective varnish (which is a care product), you will have to order the minimum quantity; however, if you would like to protect the rest of the sofa while you are at it, then order at least 200ml.
