Hello,

I would like to restore the leather of some cantilever chairs to give them a new lease of life. I collected these chairs with many grease stains, liquid stains and so on, which have been there for years.
Ideally I would get back a colour similar to the original, otherwise a darker shade to hide the stains would also be possible. The leather is thick, a little stiff, but it is not cracking too much.

What process should I follow to get a good result?

Hello,

Cantilever chairs were originally sold with a shaded colouring, on the same principle as club armchairs.

If you want to achieve this result, you will need the following products:
- 250 ml of Pigment Leather Paint to apply an even, covering colour that will hide the stains.
- 1 aerosol of leather dye. Spraying for a shorter or longer time will give the shaded effect
- 1 aerosol of Protective Wax.

Please note that the dye colours are limited and standard. The colour of the leather paint will depend directly on that of the dye (slightly lighter).
