LEATHER PAINT SPRAY

Very high-quality paint with fast drying and strong covering power.

This new paint allows you to easily repaint as new:

• sofas, armchairs
• car seats
• shoes
• handbags
• jackets
• coats

This leather dye for cars and furniture has strong adhesion to leather and covers damaged areas well.

• Shake the aerosol vigorously for 2 minutes before testing the spray on cardboard.
• Lightly sand and degrease the surface beforehand with acetone.
• Apply at least 4 coats.
• Then protect with at least 2 coats of Satin Varnish.
• On FAUX LEATHER or if you are unsure of the material, always apply a coat of Satin Varnish first as an adhesion primer.
• Always test the adhesion and color compatibility on a small hidden area before general application.
• Spray regularly in thin, crisscrossed layers from 30 cm away.
• Drying time between coats: 15 to 30 minutes.
• Application temperature above 10°C.
• Turn the can upside down after use and empty the valve.

Do not use on suede or nubuck leathers.

CHOICE OF COLOR: The 22 standard colors from our chart are currently available.
Before choosing your color, we strongly recommend you order our paper color chart first.

1 aerosol = 1.5m² of surface to recolor (1 small armchair or a car seat)

Note that light tones naturally cover less; apply 1 to 2 extra coats.

Which products to maintain my leather or faux leather and preserve the color?

If you want to preserve your color's vibrancy, it is necessary to maintain your leather. We recommend applying 2 coats of our Satin Varnish right after recoloring and every 6 to 12 months depending on usage.
To keep the leather supple and prevent cracking, apply our Nourishing Oil once or twice a year.

Frequently Asked Questions

The paint stays sticky or doesn't adhere well, it comes off easily when scratched. Possible reasons:

• The surface was not properly prepared (sanding + degreasing with acetone)
• The surface is not leather: apply a coat of Satin Varnish BEFORE painting. It acts as an adhesion primer.
• You did not apply Satin Varnish AFTER recoloring.

The color doesn’t suit me, how can I fix my surface?

Don't worry, you can apply a new color over the old one. Just make sure the surface is perfectly clean.

USAGE PRECAUTIONS

Solvent-based paint with strong odor. Use in a well-ventilated area.

To achieve an optimal renovation, please carefully read the instructions for use of each product, and respect the order of application as well as the drying times.

For light colors or porous materials the quantity provided in the kit may be insufficient. Be sure to not finish part of your renovation without making sure you have enough products.

However, as a precaution, for leather paints made from a sample of material, we keep the details of your color for one month.
