SOFOLK StitchMask is a high-precision liquid masking gel specially developed to quickly protect fine and delicate areas before painting, without using adhesive or masking tape.

Its technical formula effectively covers topstitching, seams, joints and complex areas while ensuring simple, clean, residue-free removal.

Thanks to its fluid texture and ultra-fast drying, StitchMask becomes an essential ally for leather, faux leather, plastic or textile renovation, especially in the automotive, upholstery, detailing and furniture sectors.

Ideal for topstitching and complex areas

StitchMask is particularly effective on areas where conventional masking tapes become difficult or even impossible to apply:

• Car seat topstitching
• Seams on leather and faux leather sofas
• Leather / plastic joints
• Complex outlines
• Narrow or irregular areas
• Small localised protection before painting

It effectively protects the seams and prevents overspray when applying colour, for example with our pigment leather paint for cars or for furniture.

Compatible with many surfaces

StitchMask can be used on:

• Topstitching and sewing threads

• Faux leather
• Plastic
• Metal

Its formula does not stick to the surface, which makes it easy to remove after the work. Only some more absorbent sewing threads may hold on to it more: hence the value of a preliminary test (see our application tips).

Simple, versatile application

StitchMask can be applied:

• With a brush
• With an airbrush
• With a spray gun after diluting with 5 to 30% water

This product can also be diluted up to 50% to obtain a thinner coat as needed.

Tools must be cleaned immediately after use with clean water.

Quick, residue-free removal

After painting and drying, StitchMask is easy to remove:

• By hand
• With the tip of a cutter
• With a slightly damp abrasive sponge

Unlike traditional tapes, it leaves no glue or silicone residue.

Smart, precise packaging

StitchMask comes in a 20 ml touch-up pen featuring:

• An ultra-fine metal tip for precision application
• A small brush, accessible by unscrewing the head

This system allows precise work even on the finest seams.

For heavy users, a 125 ml bottle is also available: it refills the 20 ml pen up to 6 times.

Application tips

Always do a test on a very small section of topstitching. Depending on the thread material, the gel can be absorbed by the seam: it still comes off, but with more difficulty. This test lets you check how the product behaves before treating all the seams.

Applying it to topstitching requires a little dexterity.

For optimal protection and easier removal, it is recommended to apply a sufficient amount of product.

In the event of accidental overflow, the product can be wiped off quickly with:

• a cotton bud slightly dampened with water
• or a paper towel slightly dampened with water
