Fixing a polish mistake?

· 1 replies · 1984 views

I wanted to clean and nourish a brown leather Paul Marius bag with an (old) multi-purpose balm that was supposed to be suitable and colourless. Well... apparently it was not colourless but white, since my bag now has large white polish marks all over it... (yes, I rubbed hard, too!)

What do you advise to clean off this polish?

thank you!

It seems that your product is too old and has dried out. As a result, with almost no water left in it, it has become too concentrated and leaves marks.

It may be possible to reduce or even remove the problem by rubbing with a soft damp cloth. I have no further solutions, unless you recolour the leather.

For more information, do not hesitate to contact our advisers directly by telephone on 05-57-34-69-72.

    Kind regards, the Sofolk team.
