Damaged wallet

Hello,

My wallet is damaged. I drove over it while it was on gravel.

There are no tyre marks, only gravel punctures and scuffs.

Can you help me repair it?

I should say that it is patent leather.

Will the repair paste accept the movements that the wallet will undergo? I mean in a pocket and so on, it will not crack?

Hello,
The repair paste is designed to move with the leather. Moreover, a wallet is more subject to rubbing than to twisting. The varnish protects very well against rubbing.
Here is the kit you need; it is the smallest in our range, and it contains:
-abrasive paper
-repair paste
-leather paint
-varnish

Hello,

It is possible to work on your wallet and make this minor damage disappear.

You will need our small renovation kit. It contains everything necessary: abrasive paper, repair paste, leather paint and varnish.

1 - Sand the surface lightly without pressing hard, simply to break the original varnish.

2 - Clean quickly with acetone

3 - Apply the repair paste very locally to fill the small holes, leave to dry and repeat if needed, as the paste shrinks a little as it dries.

4 - Sand again very lightly, to get a smooth surface back.

5 - Recolour with the black leather paint.

6 - Apply 2 coats of varnish
