Should the leather nourishing oil be applied before or after the varnish?

During a renovation, apply the nourishing oil 30 days after the varnish.
During routine care, it is preferable to apply the oil before the varnish. Wait 7 days before applying the varnish.

If I put nourishing oil on my sofa or car seat, will it stain my clothes?

You need to let the nourishing oil soak into the leather. This can take around ten hours. If not all the oil you apply soaks in, this means the leather no longer needs it. So wipe off the excess with a cloth. Note that once the nourishing oil has soaked into the leather, it never comes back out.

I have a leather cream that I use for routine care. Can I use it?

We do not recommend using cream. Nourishing oil is 100% natural and penetrates deep into the leather, whereas creams stay on the surface and tend to clog the leather.

Does Sofolk Nourishing Oil stain leather?

Some colours will be slightly darker (as if the leather had been wetted). The leather will return to its original colour once the product has been fully absorbed.

When should I apply Sofolk Nourishing Oil, and how?

Apply the Nourishing Oil at least once a year, and 3 to 4 times a year on areas subject to heavy use, such as shoes, the seats and armrests of a sofa or the driver's seat of a car. The product is ideally applied with a wash mitt, massaging the leather.
