Water-repellent anti-stain waterproofer for leather and fabric

Ideal for fabric, leather and faux leather: sofas, convertible tops, car seats, floor mats, boat covers, tarpaulins...

Based on silicon nanotechnology, this waterproofer forms an invisible barrier on which water, oil and liquids bead up instead of soaking in. It is remarkably effective on fabrics, Alcantara and all leathers, including suede and nubuck.

It is always applied as the last step: on a cleaned surface and, where applicable, after feeding or varnishing the leather (see our SOFOLK leather care routine).

How much do you need?

• Allow 25 to 100 ml per m²
• To fully waterproof a 3-seater fabric sofa (seats, armrests and frame): 1.5 to 2 litres

The amount depends mainly on how absorbent the surface is: low for leather, high for fabric.

When should it be applied?

Always after cleaning, for example with our stain remover. On leather, it also comes after any feeding with the nourishing oil or after the varnish: the waterproofer remains the finishing touch.

Instructions for use

1. Shake before use. Wearing gloves is recommended.
2. Prepare: the surface must be clean and dry.
3. Apply evenly: with the sprayer supplied with the 200 and 500 ml bottles, or preferably with a brush using the 1, 2 and 5 litre cans. On fabric, soak it well until saturated; on leather, which absorbs little, do not apply too much and wipe off any excess with a cloth. Another option for textiles: dipping, then drying without wringing.
4. Leave to dry before any contact with hands, water or other products. Drying time varies with temperature, the amount applied and the surface; a hair dryer can speed it up.
5. Check the beading effect once the surface is completely dry.
