Leatherette can only be repaired if the damage is accidental. However, if the holes are due to wear, it will continue to deteriorate even if you try to renovate it.
So, if it is repairable, you need a tube of Répaskaï to refill the damaged area, then, using the touch-up kit, recolour it and apply a new varnish.
This work does not require any particular skill; just take the time to follow the instructions to the letter.
