RENOVATING LEATHER, VINYL, PLASTIC, NUBUCK, ALCANTARA, ALU
InstructionsVideos
Hello,
I am looking for advice on repairing and renovating the driver's seat of my 2019 308 GT.
As you can see in the photos, the seat base has seen better days and I would like to:
- fill the 2 cracks.
- Clean the Alcantara on the seat base.
What do you recommend for carrying out these 2 operations?
Thank you in advance for your advice!
Thibaut
Hello everyone,
A little bump for the post :)
Thank you!!
Hello,
The Alcantara can be cleaned with our Stain Remover Cleaner for Leather, Leatherette, Alcantara and Plastic. It is very powerful, but if your stains are too ingrained, there is no guarantee that our cleaner will work the expected miracle :-)
As for the repair of the leatherette, this material is difficult to repair when it is too badly damaged. With our Leatherette Repairer you will be able to fill the areas where material is missing. The problem is that the leatherette curls upwards. It should be tamed before the repair by gluing it from underneath using a flexible glue such as a neoprene type.
In your case, do not expect an invisible and perfect repair, but if you work properly, you should be able to obtain a correct result.
