Hello,
I recently bought a 2013 Mercedes A-Class, and the leather on my driver's seat base on the door side is badly damaged. Is there anything to be done other than going to an upholsterer to replace the damaged part?

The upholsterer will charge you several hundred euros to replace the whole damaged piece of leather.
It is perfectly possible to renovate your leather with our renovation kit for leather car seats here.
Your main problem lies neither in the choice of products nor in the feasibility of the renovation, but in the choice of colour.
If you are able to tell us the exact name of your shade (ask your dealer), we may be able to reproduce it (if it is in our database).
Otherwise, you can order our paper colour chart, but this solution is really too uncertain as it is not very precise, unless you recolour all the leather in your vehicle.
Finally, the last solution, and in our opinion the best as it is the most reliable of all, is to send us a small sample of at least 1cm², taken from a hidden part, or to send us a removable item such as a headrest (for example). More information here

However, Crystal grey seems odd to me, because for me the colour looks creamy white
You should not (too) heavily rely on the colour shown on the screen; however, as the choice of colour is final, it is better not to make a mistake.
