Good afternoon: I am hoping someone can assist me in recommending a course of action for this low mileage 2003 Mini Cooper S seat. These seats were ordered as "gravity panther black" leather. (not the leatherette) They are much closer to a dark grey than a true black. This driver bolster is the only area of the interior that shows any signs of wear. I can't confirm if these bolsters that hold the airbag are leather or synthetic. It appears to have a top coating that is flaking and wearing off. Looking forward to your reply. Thank you. Steve

Hello, it is quite possible to repair your Mini Cooper seats.
To carry out your project you will need to follow a number of steps:

-Sand the parts of your seat that you are going to repaint

-Degrease with a Sofolk degreasing cleaner and/or acetone

-Repair with leather healing and repair paste

-Apply the pigment recolourant using a brush/roller

-Apply varnish to protect your paintwork (you can apply it to all the vehicle's seats with a sponge).

-Finally, 15 days later, you can moisturise your leather with the nourishing oil.
