Dyeing black leather in brown/brown

Hello,
I have a BMW 3 series E93 cabrio with black Dakota leather. Is it possible to dye it brown/brown or better: ivory or beige? Knowing that it is a convertible, what about the life span of its new colour? Is it strong enough? Is the operation complicated and/or expensive?
